Steps
- Open profile subscription or Commerce Upgrade.
- Select current subscription and target plan.
- Enter Effective date and Upgrade fee (INR) only if policy requires an extra fee.
- Review Current plan credit, New plan charge, Upgrade fee, Amount due now, Credit generated, and the formula shown by Staff app.
- Explain the amount due now to the member: new plan charge minus unused current plan credit plus upgrade fee.
- Collect required payment if Amount due now is positive. If credit is generated, confirm it appears in the credit ledger.
- Confirm new subscription state and invoice/ledger history.
Correct outcome
Old and new plan history is traceable, and reports do not double-count the member.
