Member wants to stop membership or cancel contract.

Steps

  • Open person profile subscription, Commerce lifecycle area, or cancellation-related workflow available for that subscription.
  • Review current plan, start/end dates, lock-in/cool-off policy, cancellation fee, unpaid invoices, refunds/credits, and access state.
  • Record the reason, requested effective date, fee/credit/refund decision, and approval owner when required.
  • Use cancellation/stop workflow instead of deleting the subscription or manually changing expiry.
  • If refund or credit is needed, use Refund/Void/Credit-note path and verify ledger/audit after action.
  • Create win-back or closure task only if appropriate and consent allows contact.

Correct outcome

Membership state, access, invoice/payment/refund history, reason, and audit trail all explain why the member stopped.
