Book and manage a trial

Question

How do we book a 3-day trial without creating duplicate users?

Steps

• Open Trials and click Add New Trial.
• Search existing person by phone/name/email. Create person only if the search confirms no existing record.
• Select trial setup, trial start date, preferred time, owner, source, and channel.
• If a fixed visit time is needed, book an appointment in Schedule linked to the person/trial.
• When the person attends, open trial detail and Log Session with the actual visit date/time, attended status, and notes.
• After the trial, update status to converted/lost/no-show as appropriate and create follow-up task.

Correct outcome

Trial session count reflects logged sessions, opportunity/task history remains attached to the same person, and conversion happens through POS.
