Before you start
- Room name should be staff-readable. Code should be short and stable.
- Capacity should match safe operating capacity for the room, not marketing capacity.
- Use active rooms only for bookable physical sessions. Virtual sessions should use virtual link instead of fake room names.
Daily workflow
- Create rooms before scheduling physical classes or appointments.
- Verify class/appointment conflict behavior by scheduling overlapping sessions.
- Deactivate rooms during maintenance or when the room should not be bookable.
Watch out
- Do not bypass room conflicts by creating duplicate room names. Fix the booking time, room, or capacity.
