Before you start
- Name and code should describe the offer staff sells or gives, such as 3 Day Trial or First Zumba Trial.
- Trial type controls how the offer is interpreted. Max validity days controls date window. Max sessions controls allowed usage.
- Online signup should be enabled only when the gym is ready for customer self-start flow and follow-up tasks.
Daily workflow
- Create trial definition, verify it appears in Trials, and test creating a trial for an existing person.
- Check that attended sessions count correctly and booked/no-show/canceled sessions follow policy.
- Review conversion tasks and reports after first few trial users.
Watch out
- Do not create trials from scratch for duplicate people. Trials should attach to the existing person profile.

Biometric Setting
Biometric Setting registers access-control devices such as Matrix COSEC, ZKTeco, or Suprema for member check-in, gate commands, and access events. Staff attendance from hardware is a separate roster/provider-certification workflow when enabled.
Class Categories
Class Categories define reusable group-class setup such as duration, eligibility, trainer requirement, room rules, trial acceptance, cancellation cutoff, and optional levels.
