Before you start
- Configure provider account first, then sender identity, then approved template, then campaign/inbox/automation usage.
- Email readiness requires a configured and healthy Amazon SES or SMTP provider plus a sender identity.
- SMS readiness requires configured provider credentials such as MSG91 and an enabled sender route.
- WhatsApp readiness requires configured WhatsApp provider, business/phone identity, template sync, and sender capability.
- Internal notes do not require external provider setup because they are staff-only.
- Connected Providers table shows account name, provider, channel type, account status, health status, Verify, and Sync.
- Template Registry can be filtered by All, Email, SMS, and WhatsApp. Template rows show name, channel, event key, sender, status, approval status, and Archive action.
- Consent & Opt-Out register shows person/contact/recipient, channel, recipient value, reason, opted-out status, and Clear action.
- Facebook lead intake from Communications is an operational/test overlay. Production ingestion should come from configured Meta webhook and duplicate-safe People/CRM intake.
Daily workflow
- Before sending messages, verify provider health and sender status.
- Review templates for placeholders, approval state, language, and channel before staff use them.
- Use dead letters and delivery failures to fix provider credentials, template mismatch, recipient opt-out, or rate-limit issues.
Watch out
- Never put raw provider secrets in notes, templates, or visible copy. Credentials belong only in the dedicated integration settings.
