Before you start
- Use add-ons for optional extras. Use Charges for one-time fees such as joining fee, freeze fee, transfer fee, or cancellation/admin fee.
- PT/session-pack add-ons must create the correct usable session balance when sold.
- Set price, tax group, active state, and sellable locations before front desk uses the add-on.
Daily workflow
- Create add-on, verify price/tax, then test adding it to POS checkout.
- For session packs, sell a test pack and confirm profile session balance appears.
- Review add-on sales in reports before changing or retiring it.
Watch out
- Do not hide joining fee inside an add-on when the gym wants a clear joining-fee line on invoice.
