What this page is for
Freeze Management pauses a member subscription for approved reasons such as travel, medical rest, or owner-approved hold while preserving audit and billing/access rules.
Who should use it
Front desk, manager, owner, finance
Where to find it
/commerce/freeze and profile subscription freeze actions
Before you start
- Select the active subscription, freeze type, start date, end date, fee, and reason.
- The current freeze form lists subscriptions only when the subscription allows freeze and status is Active or Frozen.
- Freeze form fields are Subscription, Start date, End date, and Note. The system records freeze type/policy where configured by backend.
- Workflow history exposes Stop and Void actions for freeze records. Stop ends a valid freeze; Void cancels a wrong freeze entry.
- End date must be after start date, and the reason should match configured freeze policy where available.
- Paid freeze fee is recorded in minor units when the field says minor. For INR, 50000 means INR 500.00.
- Stop, void, or change a freeze only when the member request or owner policy supports it; each action should leave audit evidence.
Daily workflow
- Open the member profile or Freeze Management, confirm the active subscription and current dues.
- Choose freeze dates and reason, review any fee/auto-approval policy, then apply or submit for approval.
- After saving, verify subscription state, access eligibility, invoice/payment impact, and audit row.
- If a freeze should start in future, confirm the member understands current access and billing before that date.
Watch out
- Do not use freeze to handle cancellation or refund. Use cancellation/refund workflows so finance and access rules remain correct.
