Preferences drawer
Before you start
- Personal preferences flow completion gate: the drawer must explain profile, password, notification, availability, and language/region settings separately because they affect different staff workflows.
- Profile preferences store Video URL, Bio, and Achievements one per line.
- Password change requires Current password, New password, and Confirm new password.
- Notification preferences control desktop permission, Enabled, and Audience scope for each event-level subscription.
- Availability preferences store Schedule name, Category, Start date, End date, weekly Available toggles, Start, End, and Date overrides one per line.
- Language and region preferences store Locale, Timezone, Date format, Time format, Number format, Week start, and Default home location.
- Profile bio and achievements can be customer-visible in future scheduling/member surfaces. Keep them professional.
- Password reset requires current password and matching new password/confirm fields.
- Notification audience scope Self means only this staff user; All means broader delivery for permitted events.
- Availability should match actual working hours if the staff member can be booked.
- Date/time/number formats affect how this staff user reads the app; they do not change stored business records.
Daily workflow
- Update availability before the roster/calendar is used for booking.
- Request desktop permission on the device where staff handles follow-up alerts.
- Set timezone and date format to the gym operating region.
Watch out
- Changing personal timezone can make due dates look different. Use gym timezone unless there is a clear reason.
